Play Minesweeper Online
Use logic to clear the field — one wrong click and it's over.
About Minesweeper
Minesweeper is the classic logic puzzle that shipped with generations of computers. The board hides a number of mines, and your job is to clear every safe square without detonating one.
Each safe square you uncover shows a number telling you how many mines sit in the eight squares around it. From those clues you deduce where the mines must be, flag them, and carefully open the rest. It is pure deduction with a jolt of risk.
How to Play Minesweeper
- Click any square to uncover it and reveal the field beneath.
- A number shows how many mines touch that square.
- Use the numbers to work out which nearby squares are safe.
- Flag the squares you believe hide mines so you don't click them.
- Clear every safe square to win — clicking a mine ends the game.

Winning Tips & Strategy
- Always start in an open area to reveal a big cluster of clues.
- A '1' touching exactly one covered square means that square is a mine.
- Flag mines as soon as you are sure — it prevents fatal misclicks.
- When a number already touches enough flags, the rest of its neighbours are safe.
- When truly stuck, choose the square with the lowest probability of a mine.
